We Friends of Rubal Kumar, 23 years old. Rubal came here as a student in Kingston in 2023 to study at St Lawrence college. He was the only brother of two sisters raised by a Single Mother. He received work permit only about 2 months ago after his studies but unfortunately met a tragic drowning accident on May 30, 2026. Rubal's story is like all students who came here for better future and to retire his mother. To send him to canada his mother took a loan of about $40000. With profound grief, we humbly request you all to contribute anything in your capacity so that we can cremate his body and send his remains back to India. The expenses for funeral and cremation will cost approximately $10,000. Any other remaining proceeds will go to his mother we cannot give her son back the least we could do is relieve her of her financial burden.
