Lawrence Poplous, lovingly known as “Puff” since childhood, was a gentle soul with a heart full of love. His nickname came from his chubby cheeks and warm spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Over the past few years, Puff endured a long battle with his health—facing kidney failure, open-heart surgery, and most recently, cardiac arrest on July 4th. From that day forward, he fought with unwavering strength and faith. On August 6th, Puff was called home to be with the Lord, finally receiving the peace and rest he so deeply deserved.

At the start of this year, Puff’s life insurance was taken away due to a failed evaluation, leaving him without coverage during his most critical time of need. This fundraiser has been created to help cover outstanding medical costs and his final arrangements.
