For Our Beloved Papa Lloyd & Nana Mary

It is with a heavy heart as many of you know, and for those that don't, Lloyd (aka our Dad, Papa, Uncle Lloyd, Grandpa, Flywheel, Mr. Lloyd), age 76, has been living with Esophageal Junction Cancer since late 2021. While treatment initially was able to clear the cancer, it reared back its big, ugly head and came back bigger than before. Mary, our mother, and Lloyd could really use some extra support right now. Mary has been working at a family agency, providing supervised visitation for children and their parents. While she loves the work, right now, she needs to spend time at home with our dad. Any funds donated will go to paying bills and allowing Mary to take some time off work, as well as paying off cremation services provided by the Neptune society and a memorial service when the time comes.

Our parents have always been there for others in times of need, whether that need was emotional support, time and sweat to finish a home project, a meal, a bed, a ride, shoes, babysitting or whatever cash they could spare. If you are able, please consider donating during this time of hardship even if it is a small amount to spare. Your contribution would not only be greatly appreciated, but would also alleviate any financial issues to forward come.

Update: We are saddened to announce in the early morning of October 11th 2023 that my dad, Lloyd Steinhoff, has passed away. He held a long fight with cancer and unfortunately cancer had won. Thank you everyone for the immeasurable amount of kind words and support you have shown my father, mother, and family.

That all being said, we will still be accepting any more donations just in financial support for my mother during this hard time.
