I am a fund-raising member of two orphanages in Nepal, Fresh Nepal and Save Blessing Child Home, which all are non-profit making humanitarian organizations registered with the government in Nepal, and dedicated to the welfare of orphans, helpless children and children in need.
Nepal is the one of the poorest countries in the world. Many children in Nepal are not given equal opportunities due to their social status, and do not have access to proper nutrition, health care, education, etc.
We attack these social problems by providing these children with a loving home, food and education. We are committed to fostering a healthy and equal living environment for every child and view it as an opportunity to build a stronger and more tolerant nation.
As you can see money goes a long way in Nepal, but it is difficult to maintain the children’s wellbeing on a continuous basis. Therefore, we would all appreciate you supporting the orphans to build them as individuals and make their environment a safer and cleaner place to live.
What we are trying to accomplish for these children is only possible with the help of your generous donations.
Your generous donation will be 100% given to the orphanage’s relief for children’s long-term education, medical and nutritional programs. No pennies from collected funds are used for admin fee etc.

尼泊爾的故事－女孩麗莎
第一次見到麗沙時，是在尼泊爾的一所孤兒院中。當時為了避免她因驚恐, 而引起過激的反應，我只能聽從院長的指示，隔著陳舊的窗櫺，好奇地望著她。我無法用正常的管道，興她面對面的交談，僅能由孤兒院 院長口中，得知她是自幼被遗棄街頭，雙目失明，又極度封閉自己的9歲女孩。聽院長說 麗莎是警察在街頭發現， 送來孤兒院時，就已雙目失明; 且因長期生活在驚恐中，所以極度的不安與自閉。所幸經院長及其夫人 幾年來愛心的照顧下，她封閉的心態 才逐漸開啟, 但仍無法與陌生人 正常的交流。
第一次見到她時，只見她憂鬱的表情, 胸前緊緊地抱著枕頭，就像在茫茫大海中，緊抱著唯一能救生的椽木。麗莎抱著的枕頭，似乎是院中唯一觸碰的禁忌，每當有人觸碰她手中寸步不離的枕頭時，就會引起她 極度躁鬱，甚至有激烈的行為。而麗莎憂愁 毫無笑容的面容，更讓我百感交集，正如院長所說 : 「一個歷經人世滄桑的小女孩，仿如走在無垠的荒漠，何處才是她快樂的甘泉 ? 」
2015年尼泊爾大地震後，我再次重返尼泊爾，探望這群孩子們。所幸地震並未给孤兒院帶來太大的衝繫，只是院中7歲的男孩丹尼，在疏散過程中，不慎摔傷了腿。
那天早晨，院長帶領著我們，為受傷的丹尼祈福。突然失明的麗莎，從房間中踽踽地走來，她將手中向來寸步不離，視為生命的枕頭，突不其然地交給院長，並輕聲地說，她想要送給丹尼 她的守護神 (枕頭)，她覺得此時的丹尼 更需要被保護，她相信守護神 會永遠保佑丹尼的平安。失明麗莎的幾句簡單，略帶沙啞的聲音，卻讓我們不能自己；我們每個人都感動地 緊緊地擁抱著她。 那天早晨，我清楚的記得，晨曦的陽光，透過陳舊的窗櫺，照耀在我們每個人的臉龐，更和麗莎從未有過的笑容，相互輝映著……….
佛經有云，「為世之燈明，乃人間最勝之福田」。我想唯有心中平等無私的愛，正是茫茫荒漠中，快樂的甘泉。
