Dearest family & friends,

As my birthday approaches on the 1st of July, my wife and I have decided to celebrate in a unique and meaningful way. Instead of gifts, I’m inviting you to join us in supporting a cause close to our hearts – the redevelopment of St. Charbel’s Church and Monastery in Punchbowl, the cornerstone of our Maronite catholic community.

Our beloved church has unveiled an exciting new master plan aimed at revitalizing and expanding our sacred space to better serve the community. However, bringing this vision to life requires significant financial support.

We are setting a personal goal to raise $22,000, not just as an arbitrary number, but because 22 holds profound significance in our Maronite Church. It represents the anniversary of the miraculous healing of the late Nohad El Chami through the intercession of St. Charbel, a miracle that was not just a testament to faith, but a call to bring young and faithful hearts back to the church, reigniting passion and devotion within our community.

We are the custodians of traditions lovingly established by those who came before us, who built our church to stand strong and proud. Traditions built on sacrifice, faith, hope and charity. As Maronites, it is our duty to carry on their legacy, ensuring our spiritual home continues to thrive and inspire future generations.
