Hi everyone, as a lot of you already know Lee has been battling lymphoma in the form of a brain tumour since April 2024.

Unfortunately in October he was taken to hospital with sepsis and placed into a coma where he suffered multiple organ failure, pneumonia and then necrotising fasciitis, a flesh eating bug which has claimed a large portion of his chest. Lee was in intensive care for 3 months and was extremely poorly with his family being warned often that he may not pull through. Fortunately, he managed to fight back from all of this, learning to talk and move again, whilst recovering from a skin graft, an abscess on his brain, multiple infections, a perforated bowel and kidney stones. Unfortunately the delay in his cancer treatment has meant that the lymphoma has spread and he is now too unwell for the chemotherapy treatment that would have cured him.

Lee has not been at home since the 5th October last year and has now been taken to willow wood hospice receiving palliative care and under going radiotherapy to give him as much time with his family as possible.

Before becoming unwell Lee was a hardworking man with his own business, his wife Stacey worked full time and they provided for their family. But now with him unable to work and Stacey having to give up work to care for him and their young family, there’s no real income and the bills are piling up

Yes, we have done other Fundraisers, including a 15000Ft sky dive. However as Lee completes his radiotherapy we've set this up to alleviate the stress on the family so they can focus on Lee.
