Assistance for Jenny’s Cafe Staff
Soon after the temporary closure of the Harvard Art Museums to aid in efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, museum staff learned that 13 of our colleagues who work at Jenny’s Cafe were released from the staff of our in-house food service provider. They are a big part of our lives and the lives of many of our visitors. We all miss them and want to help them out in this challenging time. Please join me in contributing to assistance for them. More about me and why I started the campaign:
Hi, I’m Jennifer Aubin; I work in the Communications Division of the Harvard Art Museums in Cambridge, MA. I visit Jenny’s Cafe as often as I can. I’m a huge fan of their coffee, tea, and food offerings, and especially the staff. As my colleagues and our visitors know, the cafe team are a brilliant, funny, talented, amazing group of people. They are an integral part of our museum community. They are our friends, and we want to help them.
More about how the donations will work:
Anthony Trifone, cafe manager, will be the designated recipient of the full amount donated. He will evenly distribute your contributions amongst the 13 members of the Jenny’s Cafe team. The funds will help ensure they can pay their bills, take care of their families, and stay on their feet.
