Thank you for taking the time to read. I am raising funds for small restaurant owner Carla Eastman and the Enoteca Athena employees. For those who don’t know, Henry Jost, beloved local bartender and business partner of Enoteca Athena in Brunswick, passed away unexpectedly leaving an uncertain future for the restaurant that he loved and has called home for the last few years. In addition to coping with grief after the loss of arguably the most selfless, kind, and gentle souls, Carla is also burdened with finding a solution to keep things afloat at the restaurant. Henry was not only the face of the bar, but a devoted business partner and friend—I know that he would want his crew to be taken care of in his absence. Henry dedicated much of his time, wisdom, and knowledge to younger industry workers, including myself. I, for one, would not be where I am today without Henry, and I know there are so many more people who can say the same.
