As-salamu alaykum, my name is Shannon Morgan and I am raising funds to buy daily food and supplies for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Famine and starvation is widespread in Gaza. The food that does get delivered to Gaza is often kept by merchants to sell in Gazan markets to the people. As this conflict has gone on for many months most people in Gaza do not have funds to be able to buy food for themselves and their family. Me and my brother’s in Gaza have come together to create a way for people to donate so that we can, in real time, use their donations to buy food and necessities for people in Gaza so they do not starve. We are creating an Instagram page that you can follow and see pictures of the people receiving the fruits of your donations. On the 27th of May the IOF made special arrangements to allow merchants in Gaza to buy fresh produce and dairy products to sell in Gaza from distributors in the West Bank and Israel. The deliveries of these goods to merchants in Gaza has been authorized by the IOF and IDF. The picture above is from May 31st and it is of a market in Gaza north of Rafah. Please share this page and donate what you are able. Food in Gaza at the moment is very expensive but by donating to this cause even $2 can become the difference between life and death for a child in Gaza. I can confidently tell you that 100% of your donations will go directly to buying food and water for the people in Gaza, on the ground, today. From my family in Gaza I have found out that many merchants and private citizens of western countries are exploiting the people by asking for donations and not distributing it to the people intended to benefit. In the case of the merchants they are selling donated food and supplies meant for the people free of charge. Please help us in our endeavor to provide lifesaving food and supplies directly to those in need.
