For Harvey Walk 2025. Darlington FC to Exeter Royals FC

Harvey was a passionate footballer, who believed that everyone should be able to play a sport they loved regardless of background or wealth. Keen to share kit, his knowledge and extend his friendship, Harvey was a lad you’d be proud to call a friend and your family. At the age of just 18, fuelled by domestic abuse, Harvey was backed into a corner, fearing for his future, he made an impulsive decision which led to his death. Harvey’s story highlights the need for compassion, awareness of domestic abuse, mental health and suicide. Above all kindness, you just never know when someone needs it most. With this in mind we are proud to raise funds in Harvey’s name to encourage and inspire others to invest, achieve and believe in themselves.

Our annual event in memory of Harvey McWilliams a team will be walking approximately 350 miles starting from Darlington FC in County Durham and finishing at Exeter Royals FC in Devon. This is to help spread awareness & to raise funds to help us continue the work we are doing in the community.

For Harvey Walk 2025. Start Sunday 25th of May - 31st of May 2025 Open invite to the general public to meet us at Blackwell Meadows home of Darlington FC at 9am for a start time of 10am in which you can walk with us as we head out of Darlington
