My name is Saeshah Goshorn and I have a beautiful one year old daughter named Hannah Michelle. My story is not sweet and unfortunately does not have a good ending. Hannah had been placed down for her everyday nap and she was found not breathing when she had gotten checked on. From there cpr was preformed as 911 was being dialed. While waiting for the EMT’s and police to arrive she was with out oxygen and a heart beat. They had revived her and she was rushed to Mary’sBridge Children’s Hospital and placed in the ICU for going on 8 days now (today’s date is nov 27th, 2018). Hannah has at most 10% of her brain that did not get damaged or lost when she was without oxygen. She had been unresponsive and has been breathing with a machine, she can go a whole day without taking her own breathe. Hannah can not recover from what had happened to her and we are still unsure so are the doctors about why this had happened to my baby, she can not move or feel pain, the doctors say she can no longer hear or even dream, she can not open her eyes or even be able to recognize anything, they had compared her to a vegetable. Hannah would be in 24/7 care at a nursing home not even at my home. Hannah was the most loving and happy baby I have ever met, she filled joy in so many people. I am raising money for Hannah my daughter because I have to make the best decision for Hannah, regardless of my feelings. She would not be our Hanni we know and love dearly she would be a machine, and I know Hannah would want to be able to dance or at least even hear music. Hannah has to be at peace. This is the hardest decision a parent ever hard to make.
The money would be raised for her memorial service and a viewing, we also have to rent a casket, and pay for the cremation as well as transportation of Hannah. The rest of the money would be going to Hannah’s health Expenses, vehicle/gas expenses, lodging expenses and food expenses, and for anything unseen expenses.
