Hello, my name is Saul Lopez. I'm fundraising for Elizabeth "Ely" Vargas' funeral expenses. Ely was married to my cousin, Sergio. Ely was the love of his life; he prayed and patiently waited a long time for someone like her. They were blessed with twins in March 2018, Sergio Levi and Valentina Lucia, who are now 4 years old. On July 28th, 2022, at age 38, Ely unexpectedly became very ill. She suddenly succumbed to her illness and passed away the week of August 1st, 2022. For all those who were blessed to meet and know Ely, you know how sincere and sweet she was. Ely would light up a room with her infectious smile and loving personality; her generosity knew no limits. She had a deep love for God and her family. Ely was the oldest of 5 sisters. She was also very passionate about her job and the people she worked with at LA Metro TAP. Although she has left us, we will always carry on her memories. Ely was selfless and joyfully helped and served others; we now want to help her family through this difficult time.
