As you are all aware last week the east side area was darkened by the devastating news that little Mikey-Kane Robertson had sadly been taken by the angels

Mikey was 7 years old and throughout his life fought bigger battles than most adults fight in their entire lives

Mikey was born with more than a handful of unique disabilities that the family never really got formal diagnosis of , this lead to Mikey being called a SWAN ( syndromes without a name )

Mikey spent more time in hospitals than he should of , with mum and dad dedicating every given hour to his every need .

Mum Maria and dad David were constantly searching for a formal diagnosis and would spend hours researching rare diseases in the hope to find the answer

The answers were nearly in sight and Mikey needed Just a few more tests when devastation hit and Mikey fought his final battle

During the 7 years that this planet was graced by beautiful Mikey his mum and dad were his voice , his carers , his medical team resulting in mikeys older brothers missing out on normal things like day trips /holidays with both parents as one parent always stayed behind to care for Mikey

I am not in any way stating that Dylan or Robbie have been deprived of a childhood due to Mikey but inevitably things were sacrificed

I want to do something for the family so they have something to look forward too after such a tragic loss ,maybe a holiday / short break for the boys to just enjoy .

Maria and David are extremely proud and would not accept a single penny towards Mikeys final journey and have paid for the funeral already, and they have already planned to make a generous contribution to Mikeys school in his memory for the care and compassion they have shown the family throughout Mikeys school life .

So this for Maria , David , Dylan and Robbie in Mikeys memory ❤️
