For Eric Marshall, Our Brother In Blue
Donation protected
Friends and Family, it is time for our community to come together for one of our own, our dear friend and brother in blue, Eric Marshall. Recently, Eric has been diagnosed with colon cancer. The news has come as a shock, just as our brother has just truly begun his service of defending the thin blue line as a young officer with four years on the force thus far after serving 12 years active duty in the military. It’s time to come together because cancer alone is itself more than any family’s fair share to take on, but coupled with the heightened health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, Eric's journey in fighting his cancer has been extensive. Over the past seven months, Eric has received several chemotherapy treatments. He underwent surgery at the beginning of September to remove the remaining cancer, however, the outcome was disappointing. The doctors were unsuccessful in removing all of the cancer at that time. As a result, Eric will have to undergo possibly more chemotherapy sessions, followed by radiation. After he completes his treatments, his doctors will attempt to remove the cancer again. For those of you who know Eric, you know that he is an extraordinary human being. I personally have the pleasure of being his brother-in-law and can attest that he is an amazing selfless man who is dedicated to his family and friends. He is a loving husband to his beautiful wife Raven and father of two precious children, 8-year-old Ayden and 5-year-old Aubrey. Our brother is a HUGE San Francisco 49ers fan. His other loves are spending time with family and friends to play cards, dine out, and travel. These are trying times for all of us, but that's never stopped us from pulling together to help one of our own in the past! Please donate, if you can, to help Eric Marshall with his HIPEC surgery! Once we reach our goal we can all have something to feel good about and hopefully we can rest assured knowing we’ve given Eric what he needs to get back to living his life happily! THANK YOU!!!
