For Cramlington Eastfield

I stood for election as an Independent councillor for Cramlington Eastfield in the By-election on 22/8/24 but the two Conservative candidates were chosen.

I'm thinking of standing again in May of this year (2025) if, after speaking to as many people as possible, there is support for the idea.

I stand as an 'Independent' because I am concerned that exercising wisdom and common sense based on listening to people's views must be allowed to be more important than following the agenda of one political party.

However an 'Independent' then has no party resources to back their campaign. I would like to be taken seriously as a contender and some advertising material is likely to help. Would you be willing to donate something (anything) towards the cost of flyers or a venue for a meeting to get feedback from residents?

In my last campaign I used my 'Embattled Bus' (pictured) as a meeting point for discussions but the weather is not likely to be kind enough for that this time round.

I do want to give plenty of opportunity to hear what residents have to say.
