Hi ladies so I’m sure you’ve noticed a huge personality and huge part of the LCFITNESS family missing of late.
Our beloved Clare ❤️
Clare is currently battling a very rare brain tumour. In true warrior spirit
I Asked for a very brief timeline from Clare so that she isn’t having to answer multiple questions.
From Clare
Date wise: started getting migraines from around March time, put down to stress related as left my husband.
Got medication for migraines and it helped then I lost strength and balance on left side arm and leg.
Kept training at normal level to get strength back on weaker side.
Date for MRI came through for September, expecting it to be all clear as headaches had gone and I was getting stronger again on my left side.
MRI took place at MK hospital and was then told I had to go to A&E as something had come up on the scan.
I then got admitted into MK hospital where I was put on anti seizure and steroid tablets.
Had to stay in hospital for about a week to be observed on tablets. Then operation was booked for 4th October after being delayed by a couple of days. Operation was successful apart from the brain bleed where I had to go back in for another operation to stop it and thankfully I came around and survived and am still myself just waiting for treatment now.
Radiotherapy and chemo to try and kill off the remaining tumour
Myself & sajda have known from some time and later Gul, farhana and Taz.
Now is the time to help our friend Clare a huge part of the LCFITNESS family.
I wanted to set up this go fund as a gift from us all as we look after our own!!!!
This is for clare to do whatever she would like with no questions asked as clare, Clare’s daughter Isla and her amazing mum & dad have been through so much!
I love you Clare from the bottom of my heart and this is what family does… I know your such a humble lady, but we want to help. You said it’s not our duty but it so is!!!!
Can I take this time 2 Thank Sajda for being a huge source of support 2 me personally over this time…. Because I didn’t take this news well! Clare held us both up at times….
