My name is Nici and next month marks 5 years since we lost our beautiful boy, Charlie

There isn’t a day that goes by that he isn’t missed and these milestone dates never get any easier.

Over time, I’ve found that the only way I can begin to navigate that grief is by channelling it into something positive, something that keeps Charlie’s love and memory alive.

This year, I’ll be doing a skydive in his honour. Something that feels big, emotional and a little bit brave… because honestly, I’ve never known anyone braver than Charlie.

Alongside this, I’m raising funds to provide Blue Bear & Co. bears to local children’s hospices.

These bears are designed to offer comfort and connection, with features like a recorded voice message, a meaningful scent and a gentle heartbeat to mimic a real hug. This multi sensory experience is designed to calm and reassure, offering comfort when it’s needed most.

They are something a child can hold onto when everything feels uncertain or overwhelming.

Every donation will go towards placing these bears into the hands of children and families who need them most.

This isn’t just about raising money.

Everyone who knew Charlie knows how special his bear was to him and I truly believe that, given the chance, Charlie would have absolutely loved to do a skydive… even at 5 years old.

This is about creating something meaningful in his memory, a way for his love to reach other families going through the unimaginable.
