Our local tribute to Charlie Kirk has come to an end. Our lease on the billboard has ended and the space has been leased to a new customer.

Our original goal was to maintain the billboard for three months and we greatly exceeded that goal and were able to maintain the space on the I-75 corridor for eight months.

According to ODOT data, the southbound lane on I-75 in this area has an average daily count of 25-40 thousand vehicles.

Over an 8 month period, that’s a lot of eyeballs!

Well done everyone. Thanks to all who helped make this tribute a great success.

Charlie boldly stood for his beliefs. May his example inspire us all to live our lives with the same courage, faith, and purpose.

His was a short life that was well lived. Rest in Peace, Charlie Kirk.

Image above is the proof of the memorial that we will be putting up on the Middle Pike billboard next to I-75 on the edge of Wapakoneta in about 3 weeks. The total cost will be $1,800 to manufacture and install the billboard cover pictured above, and then $1,200 per month to keep it posted at that site. We're not sure how long we will be able to keep it posted there, but we're hoping at least 3 months.

We are raising funds to help pay for a billboard in memory of Charlie Kirk. Charlie died on the battlefield of ideas, and we want to honor his sacrifice. No one should ever lose their life simply because others disagreed with their beliefs or opinions.

Any financial help to help make this happen would be well appreciated. We have already signed the contract and reserved the board in our name.

Any and all donations received in excess of the direct billboard costs will be donated to Turning Point USA on behalf of the City of Wapakoneta.
