On 18 August 2026, my beautiful best friend Bec and her four children suffered the devastating and completely unexpected loss of Brett, her husband, their dad and the heart of their family.

Bec and Brett shared 12 years together, building a life and a beautiful family with their four children. In an instant, the world they once knew has changed forever, and they are now facing a future they never imagined having to navigate without him.

There are no words that can make this loss easier, and nothing can fill the enormous void left behind. But I would love to help take away some of the financial pressure that has suddenly fallen on Bec and give her and the children some stability during the months ahead.

The bills and everyday financial responsibilities don’t stop, even when your world falls apart. My hope is that this fundraiser can ease some of that burden and give Bec the time and space she needs to grieve, support their children and begin navigating life after such a tremendous loss.

Bec is an incredibly devoted mum and wife who has always put everyone else first. Right now, she should be able to focus on their four children, helping them through the heartbreak of losing their dad while also having the space to grieve the loss of her husband, without the added worry of how she is going to manage financially.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. It will help provide some stability, ease the financial pressure and allow Bec to focus on what matters most right now, her children, their grief and getting through each day together.
