I am raising funds for my brother, sister-in-law, and my 6-month-old niece. Baby Mya is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

Last weekend, while her family was at their cottage in Caseville, Mya began experiencing staring spells. On Saturday night, she suffered a full grand mal seizure and was rushed by ambulance to Scheurer Hospital. She was then transferred to Saginaw Medical Center, where she had multiple additional seizures, before finally being transported to Detroit for specialized care.

Right now, Mya is sedated so her little body can rest while doctors run extensive tests, including bloodwork. Thankfully, she is stable and showing signs of improvement, but she will need to remain hospitalized for 5–7 days. Updates will be posted as we can give them.

Her family is 3.5 hours from home and facing unexpected expenses for food, gas, and other necessities while they remain by her side. Any donation you feel led to give will go directly toward supporting them with warm meals, travel costs, and daily needs during this difficult time.
