For baby Koen, in loving memory of Gary Vo

Donation protected
"I just want him to come home." Those were the devasting words uttered by a grief stricken wife as she dug her face into the arms of another, no longer being able to control the flow of tears she held inside her shattered heart. Her pain and suffering reverberated inside the broken lives of all those who knew Gary Vo.

Gary, an affectionate husband and doting father, was loved by many. Those who were lucky enough to know him (and that would be plenty), would remember his big cheeky smile, his generous heart and carefree nature. He was an adventurous dare devil, living life to it's fullest.

When he loved, he loved passionately and abundantly. And boy did he love life. No stone was left unturned, no food left to waste, no thrills that he didn't seek and no goals he couldn't achieve, including his desire to fall madly in love with the woman of his dreams one day have a mini Gary who will torment this earth the way Gary did.

He came from a long windy road of misfortune, a broken family, a tough childhood and an extremely difficult teenage life. He had nothing, and at some points in his life, he was homeless. But in true Gary style, he raised himself from the slums, from a high school drop out to a well respected Finance Manager. That of course was not enough for the ambitions and dreams Gary had. With his love and desire to provide a stable future for his young family, he worked hard, holding a full time job whilst endeavoring to start and excel in his own business. This was after having achieved a university degree in Commerce and mastered his Certified Practising Accountant. However, all that was taken away in the split of a second.

Gary's biggest success was and still is, his marriage to his devoted wife, Jenny. Together, they built their dreams through love, tolerance and understanding, and had a beautiful baby boy who looks just like Gary. At nearly 6 months old, Koen is already his father's son, portraying his easy going nature and friendliness towards all, young and old.

Sadly, Koen is already starting life with a tough childhood. Just like his dad, he will grow up in a broken family because his mum is shattered and his dad is gone from his life forever, taken too soon in a tragic motor vehicle accident at the peak of his life and the young age of 37.

If all the people who knew Gary wrote one page about how he has left an impression on their life, then we would have enough memories to make a novel. No, a mini series. On the hand, if all these people dug a little into their hearts to contribute to Koen's fund, what would the result be?

The long road ahead will be extremely difficult for baby Koen and his mum. Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated.
