Hello neighbours,
It still doesn't seem real. We're all so saddened by the sudden and seemingly random death of Andrew, and looking to help Steph, Pat and the girls, in whatever way we can.
Several people proposed a commemorative tree in a local park -- ideally Fairmount. Steph and Pat like that idea as well. This is one way we can ensure Andrew is never forgotten in our community.
What's Needed
The cost of the tree and plaque, etc., is $738. We're aiming to raise that money by August 29th in order to meet the fall planting deadline.
Any money raised on top of that money will be offered to Steph and Pat for whatever they need.
Currently we're focused on the application, but we hope to have a small ceremony when the tree is planted. We'll cross that bridge once the application is approved and Steph and Pat have had more time to figure out what feels right.
