Waterwell in Rozie’s name to help poor children

Hi, my name is Rozalia and I’m 12 years old. I was born with an unknown liver disease, a heart defect and with only one kidney. In my short 12 years I went trough what many people don’t in a lifetime.
When I was about 1 years old I had a liver transplant, the surgery was almost 13 hours long and they had some complications with my vena porta so after the surgery I had very little to none blood flow in that important vein. The time after the transplant was very hard and it came with alot of complications and extra surgerys which caused my heart to fail.

In December of 2012 after two open heart surgerys I had a heart transplant and with that came much more complications once again, which now affected my one kidney so much that I had to be put on dialysis and I cant even count how many times I had to have emergency surgerys because of the kidney failing as well as my heart.
I was in the intensive care unit for six months and that took a big toll on my fragile body, so much that I couldn’t walk anymore at all.
A few years later we started noticing I had some trouble breathing, my saturation was lower so they did a lot of checkups and came to a diagnosis that is called Hepatopullmonary syndrome and that causes my lungs slowly to fail and the only way you can maybe, just maybe fix that is trough another transplant but with careful delibirations along with my doctors we came to the conclusion that the risks were to high and that I wouldn’t be able to make a surgery so big again.

In 2019 I was put in palliative care and the doctors told my parents and family to spend time with me as this is the ending point. So they did and tried their best to keep me happy and loved. Although it wasn’t easy and life was getting harder for me to cope I had a will like no other. The doctors gave me the maximum of 1 year but I managed to live another 4 years because that’s what kind of fighter I was.

Unfortunately Rozie got very sick and weak during the last few years and on the 1’st of December 2023 she passed away, our angel fought hard and had a very hard time in life but she never complained, she was so angelic and patient that it’s hard to explain what kind of miracle she was.
Now we as a family want to honour her and keep her legacy alive, giving charity in her name and we hope you will too. We want to raise for waterwells so children and families can have access to clean water in Bangladesh. Having clean drinkable water is a human right and it’s something every human on earth should have access to but unfortunately many people don’t. We would like to change that and we ask everyone to join us with this good deed for our miracle princess❤️
