Five years of voluntary work
I have been working for health and sustainability for five years. Mostly with my website and Scandinavian blog - Intuitive Living by Ayako Miki - Conscious Lifestyle for Health & Happiness. It´s all about spreading awareness regarding health and sustainability. On my blog I share healthy & healing anti-inflammatory recipes, articles regarding health, yoga, personal growth and sustainability. Unfortunately, non of my work was paid during these past five years. Partly because I´m not an influencer presenting other company's products (I create and develop all content by myself), my website is not a commercial marketplace, and I don´t wish to be treated as a superficial billboard for products and services that other people and other companies provide. So, I have chosen to turn down ads, and so far I have no partners or sponsors. Truth is I haven´t taken a vacation since 2014.

A lifestyle concept for health & sustainability
Intuitive Living is a lifestyle concept I created with the sincere wish to work for a sustainable and thereby also happy and healthy world. - All about healing what needs to be healed. And by walking my own talk I have now healed severe pollen allergy, constantly watering eyes when outdoors, as well as eczema. I am also completely free from all medication - even painkillers! I simply don´t need it anymore. And my lifestyle is as sustainable as it possibly can be with the means I have. I have no car, grow veggies in my windows and even have two indoor composters in which I recycle old soil from pots and plants. (A method I developed myself).
On the path to helping others
My mission is now to spread what I´ve learned and help others. For if I can help myself, I can also help others! We´re all connected and in order to create a healthy world we must first help and heal ourselves. It´s also important to realize that the solution to disease is not hospitals, although we´re very grateful for them. The solution to disease is simply to generate health. In other words; to take care of ourselves and live healthy lives. What I´m trying to say is that we need to act before getting sick, or harming our planet, rather than after.
My voluntary work in specific
For many years I have done lots of research, developed and shared healthy sweet and savory recipes (sugar-free, gluten-free, whole foods, and mostly low-carb), written articles, answered people's questions, created a unique yoga practice as well as an interview series (A Sustainable World), that aim to spread unfiltered awareness regarding health, nature and climate. A Sustainable World is presenting prominent experts that truly walk their talk and aren´t afraid of telling the truth. So far from California, England and India. (Among these; Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride, founder of GAPS). By 2022 the interviews had reached the whole world - all continents and about 56 countries. (The old blog no longer exist, but the interviews have been republished here).
Your help will allow me to continue
I´d like to continue to spread #AwarenessForSustainability, but I honestly need financial support to make it possible. So I would be immensely grateful if you´d like to contribute. Any support is greatly appreciated!
We can create a beautiful & healthy world
I live in a world of possibilities, a world where cakes are both delicious and healthy, food is natural and healing and the future is bright and promising. Well, that is my reality anyway. If we can 'break down', we can also build. If we can get sick, we can also get healthy. If we can spread gossip, we can also spread awareness. My choice is simple and honest and I hope yours is too. ;-)
