Hi, my name is Hannah, and I’m setting up this page for my best friend — one of the strongest, kindest, most beautiful people I know.

After a long, painful, and incredibly difficult journey, she has sadly had her lower leg amputated. This has changed her life in ways no one should ever have to face, but she continues to meet each day with courage and determination, even when it’s hard.

She has been provided with a wheelchair through the NHS, and while we are grateful for the support, the wheelchair she has received is extremely heavy and difficult to use. It makes getting around exhausting, limits her independence, and adds an extra physical strain to an already challenging recovery.

A lightweight wheelchair would make a huge difference to her day-to-day life — allowing her to move more freely, regain some independence, and focus her energy on healing, rebuilding her confidence, and adjusting to this new chapter.

I’m asking, from the bottom of my heart, if anyone who knows her, loves her, or simply wants to help someone who truly deserves it, would consider donating. No amount is too small — every contribution brings us closer to giving her a wheelchair that makes life easier rather than harder.

She has already walked an incredibly long and hard road to get here. If we can come together to support her now, we can help lighten the load she carries every single day.
