For a better future of the Kids in Umoja

Dear all, my name is Beatriz, and recently, I arrived in Kenya and am spending the next three weeks volunteering at Umoja Children's Home in Bomet. The experience has been eye-opening, and I've witnessed the love and care this orphanage provides to its children. Today, I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to help raise 1000 EUR, which will be equivalent to 139,000 Kenya shillings. This amount will support the construction of a new dormitory. Currently, the orphanage hosts 72 children, 37 girls and 35 boys, which is over capacity. There are situations where 3 children sleep in the same bed. With a new dormitory, more children can be safely and comfortable hosted. Your generous donations will go a long way in empowering these children with brighter futures, filled with hope and opportunities.
