Hello there,
It's Gary Johnson here and I'm very proud to be associated with Nantwich Town Football Club based in rural Cheshire.
Known as the Dabbers, because of the historic industry of tanning, like most cities, towns and villages, the football club is very much at the heart of the community and that's why our new initiative is called "Dabbers in the Community."
At the club our motto is "Football is for everyone" and we really believe that. With over 75 teams ranging from youngsters from the tender age of 3 all the way up to our Men and Woman's first team, we also boast, disabled, visually impaired and walking football with our oldest player comfortably in their 70's.
All this is great news, but with facilities now approaching 20 years old, they are in great need of an upgrade and thats why I am taking on the challenge of Walking the 84 Mile Hadrian's Wall trail to raise funds to secure a facility that is not just about football and sport in general but also, plays a huge role in the Health and Mental wellbeing for today's and future generations.
No matter how little, I hope you can donate help me create a legacy for our community.
