Football 4 Peace

Next April I’ve been given the chance to take part in the Football 4 Peace (F4P) initiative. I will be travelling to The Gambia with other students from the University of Brighton.

Throughout our time in The Gambia i will be taking part within voluntary coaching, teaching children a variety of sports mainly including Football, alongside local leaders and international F4P coaches. This will result in the children having great preparation for a multi- sport festival against other children from within others villages.

The benefits of providing such great education to all these children allows them to learn; fair play and team work throughout sport.

F4P aims to provide spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through Physical Education and their role models.

I am over the moon to have the opportunity to do such a giving and rewarding scheme, and I would be extremely grateful for any donations to this cause. In addition to this, I will also be participating in other activities such as bake sales, pub quizzes and the occasional bootsale.

Every donation helps, and makes me one step closer to going to The Gambia.
