Love with Food
Six Bay Area counties announced “shelter in place” orders for all residents on March 16, 2020 — the strictest measure of its kind yet in the continental United States — directing everyone to stay inside their homes and away from others as much as possible. During this lockdown, many people and organizations are helping their local community. Two months of shelter-in-place, SIP, and more is needed. We are pleased to announce in partnership with Famous Master Chef Martin Yan, American Chinese Restaurants Association and Sun’s Market (Millbrae) to provide meals and fresh produce to our frontline heroes: doctors, nurses, firefighters, and police. But there is another need, people who do not qualify for government assistance, yet struggle to get food on the table. We are addressing this gap.
With your help, we will be able to provide food for them. The donation fund will match from the restaurants and grocery’s stores that are participating in the Love of Fresh Food drive. Each hot meal budget is estimated to be around $12 plus another $12 for a box of fresh fruits.
A donation from $10 to whatever amount you like is greatly appreciated. 100% of the donations will go to helping our Bay Area Community.
We will donate food to these places below first. If you know anyone needs food, please contact us.
