The Yofafo Food Program

Tax deductible
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many Ugandan families are facing extreme emotional and financial strain. The Ugandan economy and schools have closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and the rural villages in Kitoola and Najja are deeply impacted without any work available.

Many of the farmers work in the sugar canes for $2 a day and depend on their daily wages to purchase food for their families. As a result of COVID-19 pandemic, many families are going hungry because they cannot afford food.

Now, more than ever, the Yofafo Food Program is committed to ensuring that all community members have access to food. We are asking your help to raise $1000 a month, for the remainder of 2020, to combat the threat of food insecurity. With some families losing their means of income, the food supply is running low in Uganda. Your small gift will make a large impact.
