Food for the Frontlines (Greater CT)

Food for the Front Lines was founded by former Food Rescue US Fairfield County Site Director Nicole Straight, who saw an opportunity to help CT restaurants while feeding the health care workers at the front lines of this medical crisis. She raised $15K and delivered over 750 meals in under a week. In partnership with CTbites, the Food For The Front Line Go Fund Me was created to continue to fund this mission.

The campaign has now expanded to support front line workers and restaurants in other parts of Connecticut. According to recent data, the most urgent needs outside Fairfield County are currently in Hartford and New Haven Counties. Your donation will help to support hospital workers and other front line responders with meals from restaurants in these areas and will continue to expand as needs change over the coming weeks.
