Hi everyone,
It’s been a while since we’ve used our platform. Thanks for all the support the past 2 years, we’ve been able to help lots of families by providing food with your donations during the pandemic.
Our mission is still to help the communities in Bocas Del Toro, but in a different way. We want to help them be more self sufficient.
The project we’re supporting right now is organized by Ceci Brec who has a strong bond with the Bluff community. She’s working on building a school for the Bluff community that currently doesn’t have a proper school to go to.

2020 & 2021
Hi there,
we've started this gofundme because the people of the Bocas community are having a difficult time during the COVID-19 situation. The people here live their lives day to day so have little or no savings. The pandemic has forced all restaurants and bars to close, and since the main income of many people here is based on tourism, majority of peoples income has stopped completely.
It's becoming a serious problem on the Island, as a massive portion of the Bocas people do not have money for basic necessities such as food. The only support the government provides is 80$ a month per household, which as you can imagine is almost impossible to live off. And on top of that not everyone is receiving it. There are bags of food being handed out, but again these aren't reaching everyone.
We’re so grateful for the life we living here. And everytime our friends come we get to show them the beautiful paradise we live in. We give back to the community in the ways we can, but this situation is becoming so big that we would really love your help and support. In case you are blessed with a job and food on your table this is a great opportunity to show gratitude. If you've ever visited this beautiful island or have seen pictures and have always wanted to visit; please help support our community.
