Food Bank and Community Shop

Hello everyone,

For the past two weeks, I have had the incredible opportunity to provide support at Asociación “Yo Soy Tú”, a food bank and social charity in Málaga. This experience has been deeply rewarding, and I will continue to volunteer here next week completing my three week commitment. The organisation relies heavily on donations and volunteers to provide important support to the community.

Why Your Support Matters

Yo Soy Tú provide essential services to many people in need Monday to Sunday. Here are some key statistics that highlight the impact of their work:

526,503 meals were distributed in the past year.

49,868 food aid packages were given to children.

The clothing bank was open for 260 days in 2023, serving 3,220 people and distributing approximately 9,600 kg of clothing. Whilst also providing families with nappies and baby food.

In 2023, less than 275,000€ was spent to carry this out. It’s astonishing that so much can be done for so many people with this amount of money, and highlights what more could be done with further donations.
