I’m putting this together for a close friend of mine, Nic Younghans, who has been dealing with a situation that was completely outside of his control, and it’s taken a serious toll on his life.

Nic, through no fault of his own, has been involved in a combination of property and legal issues over the last couple of years that caused him to be unlawfully removed from his property, leaving him and his animals displaced in survival-level living conditions. He lost his home, his stability, and the ability to support himself the way he used to.

This isn’t someone who did something wrong or acted irresponsibly — it’s someone who did it by the book, went through the proper channels, did everything correctly. Without getting into every detail here, instead of getting help and support, he was ignored and subjected to retaliation.

There have been periods where he has been living out of a truck or trailer, trying to take care of himself and the animals that depend on him. He has multiple dogs that rely on him, and despite everything, he has refused to give up on them

At this point, the need is very basic:

He needs help to eat, keep his dogs fed, and get back to a place where he has some kind of reliable transportation and stability.

Funds from this will go towards:

• Food for Nic

• Dog food and basic animal care

• Transportation and fuel

• Temporary living expenses

This isn’t about anything extra — it’s about getting him through the immediate situation so he can start rebuilding.
