FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER MIGRANTS IN OAXACA

Please help COLLIN A.C. continue feeding and clothing the  migrants passing through Oaxaca and to find a place to shelter them, soon. 6 months ago we set up a small kitchen space in close proximity to Jardin Morelos where we fed and clothed upto 205 migrants daily.

Since November 9th, 2023, we've not been allowed to feed them hot meals at the park and so we've taken to the streets each afternoon to seek out and bring them food and toiletries. We invite them to our kitchen to receive clothing, blankets, medicine etc, and to charge their phones. 

Our average daily expense now is $81 USD. Our expenses include food, clothing, shoes, blankets, medicine and doctor's visits,

toiletries, water, utilities, kitchen supplies and rent. We are all volunteers and no one receives any sort of payment for their time and efforts.  

Our hope is that with the increased migrant numbers in Oaxaca, we can find and rent some sort of shelter to protect them from the cold temperatures and the risks they're exposed to on the streets and parks at night. Please help us to make that a reality. Oaxaca desperately needs a safe place for migrants to sleep, rest and receive much needed attention and support.
