Food and Supplies for our Father, Jose, and his Community in Nicaragua

We are two daughters seeking support for our father and his community in Nicaragua. Our father presently lives in a rural part of Nicaragua, where the sociopolitical climate has been complicated for several
years, with the pandemic making the situation exponentially worse for residents. The entire village where our father resides is facing a dire lack of food and supplies. The people and animals are starving. They typically live off the land but the crops have gone bad and they don’t have sufficient resources to replace them or to purchase food for survival.

Due to the global pandemic and the social injustices plaguing our world, this year has forced so many of us to think about the ways in which we want to make a difference and build community. We come to you today with honesty, humility, and courage in the hopes that you can support us as we navigate solutions for our family’s current struggles.

We recognize that many of us are facing a difficult financial situation, but if you are able to donate any amount, your generosity will make a substantial difference. All funds collected will go directly towards food and basic necessities for our father, his family, and his community.
