On Saturday 12th of July, members of Folkestone & Hythe District Scouts, Explorers and Network (including their leaders & young leaders) will take their next Scouting challenge to new heights and become part of this first of a kind event, providing participants with an unforgettable experience which, at the same time, will also raise money for very worthy local charitable causes.

50% of the monies raised will go towards the purchase and on-going maintenance of a climbing & abseil tower for the Folkestone and Hythe Scouting District, presenting the opportunity for young people in the district to potentially try out these activities for very flrst time.

The other 50% will fund youth activities, equipment and routine repair & maintenance needs for the church. St Leonard's Church is not only dominant in its position in the town, but also dominant in regards to its importance to local residents - bringing family, friends and members of the congregation to form a fundamental part of the Hythe community.
