Support Mikey’s Journey to Recovery!

I write to you with a heavy heart to share the story of my 11-year-old nephew, Mike, who has unexpectedly suffered a stroke. The cause is still unknown, but doctors have identified narrowing of a vein in his neck, which may have contributed to this life-altering event.

As a result of the stroke, Mike has lost all motor skills on the left side of his body, including his face. He is currently being transferred to the Penn State Rehabilitation Center, where he will undergo intensive treatment to regain his motor skills and movement.

This is a challenging time for our family, especially for my sister, who is caring for Mike and his four younger brothers. She is unable to work right now and will need assistance with many aspects of daily life, including transportation, meals, daycare for the little ones, and more.

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial burdens during this difficult time. Your generous donations will go directly towards Mike's rehabilitation, household expenses, and supporting my sister and her family as they navigate this journey together.
