Hello all,

I am setting this page up for my parents, whose trailer home burned to the ground on August 25th. They lost everything. The Red Cross has given them $500 to buy some clothes and My Uncle David has been letting them stay with him since the fire. They have found an extended stay motel that will cost $1500 a month. I am hoping to raise enough to help them with a month or two at the hotel, as well as a bit to help them buy necessities when they find a new place to live.

Some of you may be worried about the fact that my parents are not always the best with money and may be hesitant to donate. Because of this, I will be the one to disburse the funds donated to allocate myself. They will tell me what they need and how much they need, and I will write a check to that place OR get them a gift card for that specific need.
