Downtown Brattleboro's Flowers

There has been an outpouring of sentiment and an abundance of people looking for a way to get involved in our vibrant downtown Brattleboro Flowers Program.  Thank you! Here is how you can help:

For the first time since its inception, we are asking for your contributions.  If you are saying you love our flowers - give to what you love! $5, $10, $75 or $200... you decide.

Why now?  Because for the next 24 hours (Thursday: October 17th - 9AM - October 18th 9AM)  each of your dollars will be matched by one of our generous downtown businesses: Green River. Michael Knapp, the founder and CEO of Green River, approached DBA and stated: "The flowers are the best part of my walk to and from my office every day. How can I help?"

The Downtown Brattleboro Alliance has always funded the downtown flowers through our annual budget.  Dick Degray is the tireless volunteer who for years has had the vision and ensures the flower magic happens every season. Our flower program relies on him and is eternally grateful for his determination and ownership of this part of our program. Described as the "Lorax of the Flowers",  we need to support him with more paid help.  Help watering, planting and deadheading.

Time Sensitive: for the next 24 hours each dollar you contribute will be matched up to $2,500 by Green River.

Spring, Summer, and Fall Brattleboro is full of flowers.  The DBA Flower Program is bountiful and vibrant. It puts smiles on faces all around the town!
