Flood-Please Help The People On My Street

Hello, my name is Jesse Pomerico I live in Morgan which is a small town in South Fayette Twp (just south of Pittsburgh). Just like many areas across the eastern part of the country our street was hit hard Wednesday night by the flood waters forcing most of us to pack what we could as rescue boats evacuated us from the area. Since then most of us have been living in hotels or with friends/family until the homes are deemed livable again which is going to take weeks. This has been an exhausting 5 days and it has been even more difficult going through it with a newborn-hence the reason we haven’t started this gofundme earlier. Many of you have messaged insisting to help and anyone that knows my wife and I know that we are normally to prideful to ask anything from anyone-we are surrendering. But this will not just be for us it will be for our neighbors who many of which are renters and lost everything they owned without any chance of reimbursement, neighbors who have kids, neighbors who would get Rocco off the bus when we were stuck in traffic, neighbors who would plow our drive when we were snowed in, neighbors who were dropping items off to our newborn Roman, neighbors who would bring our dog back after she would get loose. With these acts of generosity our neighbors stopped being neighbors and became Friends-they are in need of Help. If you would like to help this is the way.
