Flood Relief for the Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County
Tax deductible
Urgent Community Support Needed
Hi, I'm Laura Kuykendall, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County.
On July 8, 2025, torrential rainfall hit Sallisaw, Oklahoma, bringing a massive amount of water in a very short time. Within minutes, our Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County was overwhelmed by flooding, leaving our facilities severely damaged and uninhabitable.
Our Club has always been a safe haven for youth during the summer and after-school hours — a place where they can learn, grow, and feel supported. Today, that safe space is gone.
While we have secured a short-term solution to continue serving our youth in the coming months, we are also moving forward with building a new, bigger, and better Boys & Girls Club to serve future generations.
While the goal seems huge, no dollar amount is too small. We have already secured one-third of the cost to build the new facility — we just need your help to complete our goal sooner than expected.
Every donation received will be used to replace items damaged in the flood, cover the costs of temporary Club relocation, and support new building construction.
We need your support now more than ever. Your donation will help us recover, rebuild, and ensure that no child in our community goes without a place to feel safe, learn, and thrive.
Please consider donating today. Every gift — big or small — makes a lasting impact.
Thank you for standing with us.
