Help Allan and His Family Rebuild Their Dream

Dear friends,

It breaks my heart to share the devastating situation my dear cousin Allan and his family are currently facing. After years of relentless hard work, sacrifice, and determination, Allan and his wife achieved their lifelong dream of opening a cozy little restaurant in Florianópolis, Brazil. Their restaurant quickly became a beloved part of the community—a place where neighbors gathered, shared laughter, and enjoyed delicious food made with love.

But their dream turned into a nightmare. Recent catastrophic floods hit Florianópolis, leaving their restaurant and home partially destroyed. Almost everything they had worked so hard to build was wiped out in a matter of hours.

The damage is overwhelming. Their home is now barely livable, with water damage everywhere, and the family is sleeping on moldy mattresses. The restaurant, their primary source of income and livelihood, is in shambles. Equipment, furniture, and supplies have been ruined, making it impossible for them to reopen and earn a living.

Allan and his family are some of the kindest and most generous people you could ever meet. They have always put others first, helping friends, neighbors, and their community whenever they could. Now, they need our help.

We are raising funds to help Allan and his family rebuild their restaurant so they can begin to rebuild their lives. The funds will go directly toward:

• Restoring the restaurant (repairs, replacing damaged equipment, furniture, and supplies)

• Providing temporary relief for their home (clean bedding, essential household items, and repairs)

• Giving them a chance to breathe and regain stability as they recover from this overwhelming loss
