Emergency Relief for 9,000+ Displaced Families in Ilu Woreda, Oromia

More than 9,000 families in Ilu Woreda, Southwest Shewa Zone of Oromia, Ethiopia, have been forcibly displaced due to the overflowing Awash River. Among them are thousands of children, women, and elderly who have lost not only their homes but also their source of livelihood.

Entire farming communities have been washed away, and families are now left exposed, without shelter, food, clean water, or medical care. Being wintertime in Ethiopia, survival is even more difficult for vulnerable groups—especially children and women—who are sleeping in the open with little to no support.

We are organizing this campaign to raise immediate funds for food, shelter, clothing, and essential medical supplies for the displaced. Every dollar helps provide hope and relief to those who have lost everything. The fund will be delivered to the Bank account opened in support of the victims and will have a report on the page for transparency.
