Fliss, Sophia & Daniel take on a Half Marathon for Carezone!

HI!

We are attempting the Great Eastern Run this October to raise much needed funds for Care Zone & Peterborough Food Bank!

The Care Zone is a warehouse of good quality furniture, clothing, toys and household items – donated by church members and others in the community – that are given away free of charge to those that are in need in and around Peterborough. Peterborough Food Bank provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis.

We need YOU to help us support these amazing causes by sponsoring us in the insane challenge of running 21.1km on Sunday the 12th of October. (Neither of us are runners!) Both of use have started our couch to 5k journey, and once we have completed that it's straight into half marathon training!

Whether you can donate £5, £50 or simply share this fundrasier, your support makes a real difference for those in need. With food prices rising and many local people struggling to make ends meet, the demand for food assistance has never been greater. Peterborough Food Bank/Care Zone work tirelessly to ensure that people not only have food on their plates but also a comfortable place to call home, and we want to do our part to support their mission!
