At Flexiss, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Our mission is to leave local communities better than we found them, and we are passionate about improving the lives of children and young people in the areas we serve.

Building on Past Success

Last year, our team embarked on a challenging expedition to climb Mt. Snowdon, raising nearly £10,000 for Action for Children. This achievement not only demonstrated our commitment but also highlighted the generosity and support of our community. Inspired by this success, we are excited to announce our latest initiative: an Easter Egg Drive and Fundraiser in partnership with Action for Children.

Why This Cause Matters

Child poverty remains a significant issue in the UK, with 4.3 million children growing up in poverty. Alarmingly, 69% of these children live in working families, underscoring the pervasive nature of this challenge. In an average classroom of 30 students, 9 are living in poverty. These statistics highlight the urgent need for support and intervention.

The Impact of Action for Children

Action for Children operates over 475 services across the UK, many of which are located in the communities where our stores are based. In the 2021-2022 period, they served a total of 671,275 children, young people, and families. Their dedicated team of 7,000 staff and volunteers works tirelessly to help disadvantaged children break through barriers of injustice, deprivation, and inequality, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
