Helping Refugee Kids and Their Families in Denver
We’re reaching out to make a difference in the lives of refugee families in Denver who are facing immense challenges. Your support can provide essential resources like food, children’s clothing, children’s shoes, undergarments, socks and medication for families. Every contribution counts, and together, we can make a meaningful impact.
Our good friend, Jon Mottern, has been inspirational as boots on the ground —feeding families and delivering essentials. However, the need is vast, and Jon requires additional support to broaden his impact. Your contribution can amplify his efforts, enabling more families to receive the basic necessities they desperately need.
All funds will go directly towards children’s clothing, children’s shoes, socks, undergarments, children’s over-the-counter medicine and food from Costco. If we’re able to raise enough money we’d love to assist with housing for displaced women and children as well. Jon is actively looking for low rent housing options. If you’d rather donate a gift card from a grocery store, Costco, Walmart, etc, we will happily buy and distribute necessities.
We'll provide information on how the funds are used.
Thank you for your support,
Kelly Reed with Jon Mottern, Anne Singleton, Liz Richards, Jessica Jimenez, Rachel Gallegos, Jeff Plous, Caitlin Clough, Emily Chaney, Adrian Kinney, Heidi Cox, Jen Miller, Shurie Fletcher, and Halley Zadeyan
