Health really is wealth.

I couldn’t resist a last minute entry to limp the midnight marathon I was in such awe of last years runners for completing. Those close to me have suffered a devastating impact from poor physical and mental health over the last few months; I truly believe in the power of community to support our loved ones through struggles with both.

We all need to feel we belong and are of value: alongside the midnight crew I’ll be aiming to raise money for Flawed Hero to provide the tools to help people to better handle life’s difficulties.

The NHS are amazing: research into cancer treatment makes incredible advances all the time, but needs to be funded.

I’ll be thinking of the ones I love who have taught me so much as I count down the miles, knowing how lucky I am to have this opportunity to help. The Flawed Hero marathon really is the most inclusive and supportive in the world. Wish me luck!
