Dylan is a bright, gentle soul living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) — a rare and progressive condition that affects every part of daily life.

He’s Taylah (@taylahjadeart)’s second cousin, and like many with DMD, his world is full of routines, restrictions, and heavy realities.

Simple things — like leaving the house, going to the bathroom, or accessing public spaces — require special equipment, planning, and support.

We’re hoping to give Dylan something different:

A once-in-a-lifetime trip to Cairns to visit his grandparents — both in their 90s — while he still can.

What might be a simple family holiday for some, is a huge undertaking for Dylan.

The cost of accessible transport, accommodation, and care makes this trip sit at around $5,000 — far beyond reach for many families in this situation.
