Hello. Im Jennifer. Im a military spouse and business owner. My husband Matthew is in the Marines. We have 3 kids together of our own and took in my brother since 2018. My youngest brother was the first to know of my mother's passing. My mom Nora passed away today at 4 in the morning. Leaving behind 4 children and 4 grandchildren. She was from Delicias Chihuahua Mexico. She always had a smile even when there was tough days surviving day to day. I took in my youngest brother and promised to take him to CA to see mom. And unfortunately she's passed and I must take him to say his final goodbyes. We wouldn't be able to take the whole family to CA. Even if it can be just my brother and I to go from Florida to California and help with funeral costs and final wishes she's had. We'd greatly appreciate any help. I plan to go tomorrow and see if red cross or marine relief society are able to help us. I can update everyone what goes on. My older brother is much closer to Bakersfield than we are and awaiting a date we are able to see her. Im hoping to get a date soon. As a military family it's unfortunate we are so far from family. We've exhausted emergency funds and credit cards for things we've needed since moving here and for myself to start a business that I know my mom Nora is so proud of. Please. Anything helps. We just need to see her one last time and say our goodbyes and be there for my siblings. I don't have much family help and I don't have many friends. It's so sudden. It feels unreal. We'd appreciate the help so so much. Funds will be used for funeral costs (my moms final wishes for Mariachi and celebrating her with her favorite food), plane tickets round-trip for 2 at least and stay. I will do everything in my power to give back once I'm up and running again with the business. That's a promise I can keep! Thanks you for your time reading this.
